Your First Visit
What to Expect
Please arrive 5-10 minutes early to complete
your ‘New Patient Form’ comfortably.
Your first visit includes a full dental exam
and a friendly consultation to discuss any
concerns.
We usually take x-rays to detect any hidden
decay under fillings or between teeth.
A professional clean to remove plaque and
tartar build-up for a smooth, refreshed smile.
We apply fluoride to help strengthen your
enamel and protect against cavities.
You’ll receive tailored guidance on how to
best care for your teeth and gums at home.
Do you offer a no-gap check-up & clean?
−Yes, for patients with eligible private health insurance cover, the appointment will be covered completely by your health fund. There will be no ‘gap’ to pay, i.e. there will be no out of pocket expense.
What if my child is eligible for the CDBS?
+For kids covered under the Medicare Child Benefits Dental Scheme, there will be no out of pocket expense and ongoing treatments are covered completely under the funds in this scheme, provided the overall treatments do not total over the limit prescribed.
What if I don't have private health insurance?
+For patients without a health fund, the cost for this initial visit will be $150.00.
